🇫🇷 Je ne spoilerai rien au cas où vous voudriez lire les livres mais pour faire court :
Maharet et sa jumelle, Mekare, sont de puissantes sorcières contemporaines d'Akasha - plus connue sous le délicieux sobriquet "Reine des Damnés" - nées il y a 6000 ans environ, ayant l'aspect de jeunes femmes de 26 ans.
Maharet perd ses yeux d'un vert étincelant (... arrachés ) avant d'être transformée en vampire ; c'est pourquoi elle "emprunte" ceux de ses victimes afin d'être capable de voir à nouveau.
( le pouvoir du Don Obscur, vous savez... )
Si vous avez vu le film "Queen of the Damned/La Reine des Damnés", ne soyez pas surpris si vous ne connaissez pas l'histoire : ils ont mélangé son personnage avec celui de sa jumelle, qui n'existe pas elle-même dans le film...
Mekare est celle qui est indirectement à l'origine du Don Obscur et qui prendra la place de Reine des Damnés. Si les yeux de Maharet lui furent arrachés, pour Mekare, ce fut sa langue.

🇬🇧 I won't spoil anything in case you want to read the books but to put it briefly :
Maharet and her twin, Mekare, are powerful witches contemporary to Akasha - better known by the delightful nickname "Queen of the Damned" - born about 6,000 years ago, with the appearance of a 26-year-old woman.
She loses her bright green eyes (.... gouged out ) before being turned into a vampire ; that's why she "borrows" the ones of her victims to be able to see again.
( the power of the Dark Gift, you know... )
If you saw the "Queen of the Damned" movie, don't be surprised if you don't know the story : they mixed her character with her twin who doesn't exist in the movie...
Mekare is the one who is indirectly at the origin of the Dark Gift and who will take the place of Queen of the Damned. If Maharet had her eyes were ripped, Mekare "lost" her tongue.

🇫🇷 Voilà l'été, voilà l'étéhééhééé... !
Paraît-il ! Tant que la température n'excède pas les 25 degrés, la petite vampire en moi est "heureuse" - au-delà, elle s'adapte mais très... mollement.
Voici donc l'illustration de cette saison réalisée pour le site des Sentinelles du Climat [ un projet en alliance avec mon collectif Sauvage Garage ] , avec en guest-star le lézard ocellé qui peuple notre littoral atlantique.

Apparently! As long as the temperature does not exceed 25 degrees, the little vampire inside me is "happy" - beyond that, she adapts but very... limply.

🇫🇷 Diable... il était temps de repasser ici afin de faire certaines mises à jour.
"The Show must go on" disait-elle - il fut bien plus mauvais que prévu HAHA.
Commençons donc avec un sujet récurrent chez moi : l'INKTOBER ! Mais celui qui se joue toute l'année, soit 1 par semaine, l'inktober 52.
